More about me.

I'm a new grad from UCSD, with a track record in building real world products, coupled with a passion for technology and design. I enjoy anything related to cooking, making digital art, piano, and playing Red Dead Redemption or Fallout occasionally.

Education

UCSD

I graduated from University of California, San Diego in June 2024 with a B.S. in Machine Learning and Minor in Computer Science. Some of my favorite courses included Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Deep Learning, and Algorithms. On the side, I enriched my academic knowledge with practical experience by joining several clubs where I could provide web solutions for users. It was also through the school that I found my first part-time job at the Supercomputer Center, where I still work today.

Experience

Software developer intern for the San Diego Supercomputer Center Research Division Services. Worked with developers to migrate patient data from Microsoft AccessDB to new PostgreSQL database for ADRC. Updated table schemas and performed SQL query documentation in order to address inconsistencies between table versions.

Currently providing solutions for the NeuroRes chat application, creating backend and frontend features. Developed REST API endpoints using Golang, optimized pagination for three new journal endpoints using MySQL, set up a structured logging system to provide detailed server monitoring, and improved an existing websocket feature for real time communication. Added new frontend components to provide stable user experiences and interactivity across Swift and Kotlin clients.
