Main Website
One of my first tasks as a frontend developer was to redesign the club's main website. I worked with another bright developer on our team over the last stretch of Summer 2024 trying out different ideas. The initial designs were...bare bones to say the least, but we were short on time and needed to push an MVP for the fall quarter. The third slide is the only photo I have of our first production version on a mobile browser.
AI Competitions Portal
By winter of 2024, my dev lead wanted me to create a new competitions portal for club members. The design process drew inspiration from endless hours or pinterest boards and fiddling around to see what worked and what didn't. I ultimately wanted the layout to feel intuitive but fun to play around with. While this project was put on hold until after I graduated, you can see elements of the original design used for the 2025 StarChess competition.
